Everything You Need To know
Think you’re ready to embark on the Bike & Build journey?
”Bike & Build is by far the most challenging, rewarding, unbelievable experience I've ever had. I can't imagine my life now without having done it.Ashton GreerCUS'14
Be A Rider
In order to ensure the safety of our riders and the communities we serve, we’ve made the tough decision that we cannot safely send our Southern US, Central US, and Northern US teams out across the country this summer due to the possibility of contracting and spreading COVID-19. This means that we have cancelled our 2020 cross-country offerings, and that applications are currently closed.
In addition to our riders’ health and safety, we do not want to pose additional risks to those communities that graciously host our teams and partner with us in building each year.
We’re looking forward to our 2021 summer already, and you can expect applications to open in July!
We accept any rider between the ages of 18 through 26 at the start of the summer.
Be A Leader
Leader applications closed October 1st. If you’re interested in a Trip Leader position for 2021, keep an eye out for applications opening mid-summer.
Bike & Build Trip Leaders are the glue that holds teams together. The role is extremely rewarding but demanding. We rely on exceptional young adults with strong peer leadership qualities for these positions.
If you are also interested and eligible to be a rider, you can apply for the rider lottery. Applying to be a leader in no way affects your odds in the rider lottery. If you are not selected as a leader, whatever slot you earn in the lottery is reserved.
Bike & Build accepts leader applications from individuals ages of 18 through 29.
I'm Intereseted In Applying!
