Meet The Team

Carrying Out Our Mission Every Day

The Bike & Build office structure is unique. Founded in trust, honesty, and communication, the office dynamic parallels the culture codes we foster in our leadership teams. Our team perpetuates the Bike & Build mission by using an approach to empower young adults giving staff the leeway to be creative and guidance to impact success.

Staff

Lauren Hamilton

Director of Outreach and Communications

Pronouns: she, her, hers

From engaging with Alumni through our City Captains program to connecting with interested riders to join our community to building partnerships to help us grow, Lauren works to broaden our community and sustain our stakeholder’s connection with the organization. As the point person for outreach and communications, Lauren aims to tell Bike & Build's mission and vision in purposeful and intentional ways. Lauren manages our social media presence, keeps our community “in-the-know” with our newsletters, and champions our recruitment events and engagement opportunities.

Lauren is passionate about the power of experiential education to influence positive change for the better of all, enjoys reading in her local park, and hiking for her pup, Ora.

Cori Callahan

Program Director

Cori first fell in love with bicycles at a young age. With a sparkly blue banana seat, raucous laughter would emit from her lungs as she sped down the neighborhood hills. Since those sparkly sunny days, Cori’s bicycles have taken her to many amazing places and have allowed her to meet incredibly inspiring folks.

After years spent working in the outdoor industry as a guide, trainer, and logistician for wilderness expeditions, Cori is excited to be at Bike & Build and support folks setting out on a different kind of expedition across the United States and into the Affordable Housing landscape. When not working, Cori can be found exploring by bike, boat, and foot, wandering with her dog Spatula, and doing “indoor cat” things like reading, cooking, drawing, and yoga.
