Susanna's bio: This is now the 3rd Bike and Build bio I've had to write, and I'm finally at a loss for words. As last year's Southern trip started, and Brendan gave the opening speech, he said 'This is the best summer of your life. You won't always think that; in fact, sometimes you'll think it's the worst summer ever. But believe me, it's the best.' I remember laughing outwardly, but also inwardly groaning. Everything was new; I was uncomfortable with the 30+ new people, and the prospect of what we were about to do terrified me. Now, I can't imagine my life without Bike and Build. I wear the sweatshirt on a daily basis, and the people I met quite literally changed my life. Bike and Build is (to be trite, but also true) amazing, and I'm so glad it's in my life. Whether I can commit to one week over the winter or an entire summer, I can guarantee that I'm going to hang onto this organization for as long as they'll have me. I guess this is supposed to be more about me than about Bike and Build ... but I think the easier thing to do is to just check out my blog (www.curlysu.com). I hate paragraph descriptions; I'm not all that good at them. For now, just know that I'm more than looking forward to the second week of the Capital Trip...
