Dear Lois..... Thank goodness that you're healing well and for your bravery and upbeat attitude! I'm glad that my 1st cousins are pampering you. (If I was there I would be doing the same.) This is a difficult situation... you SHOULD BE PAMPERED! If not now...When? We cannot 'undo' this. We are all trying to move forward in a positive direction. I hope the good doctor releases you on Tuesday so that you can go back to sweating and the good life of Bike and Build! I know that you are in everyone's thoughts and prayers. Love to you and my cousins, Laura
PS: more Gold Bond is on the way!

Lois’ Mom here…I can’t begin to tell you how much it means to me that you all stepped up to care for my daughter. I am so glad that she got immediate attention and the services of a plastic surgeon when needed. In addition, Lois now has a “foster family” in Cincinnati who made sure all her needs were met while initially healing and Dr visits were happening. It’s easy to freak-out when your child is injured thousands of miles from you and you can’t be there (…and I was worried about tornados!!..). Lois is looking forward to joining her group again and I’m sure you will all make sure she takes good care of herself.

Many thanks for the great photos….its wonderful to “travel along” with you all this way.

Lois -- I'm glad things are healing nicely and you are doing better. If there's anything I can do while you're still here in Cincinnati, please feel free to call me. I'd be happy to help you with anything you might need. Good luck on the trip and I hope you can get back on your bike soon! Keep stompin' that Yeti Stomp!!! :)
Sincerely,
Malinda Thomas

Debra -

We just wanted you to know how impressed our family was with Lois. She handled the dog bite trauma amazingly well, and was a great foster daughter while she stayed with us. She's certainly welcome back any time (particularly since the silverware drawer she organized is rapidly becoming disorganized once again).

I'm sure you're proud of her, as you should be.

Best,

Bill Markovits
